Daryl Battaglia - Entrepreneur in Residence, Nielsen Mobile Applications Lab
Daryl Battaglia is Entrepreneur in Residence for Nielsen. In this role, Daryl is responsible for leading mobile innovation initiatives to build prototypes, conduct research pilots with clients, and launch new solutions. During his 15 years at Nielsen, Daryl has held several roles. Most recently, Daryl was a Black Belt in Nielsen’s Business Process Improvement program. In that role, he led cross-functional teams and applied Six Sigma and Lean methodology to deliver quality improvements and cost leadership. Prior to that, Daryl launched and led Nielsen Media Tracking, a suite of advertising campaign tracking and broadcast verification services. The launch of its KeepingTrac product enabled agencies and advertisers, for the first time, to track their TV campaign’s audience delivery progress in near real-time. Daryl also worked for several years in Finance, including as a Director focused on large contract negotiations and new ventures.
Prior to joining Nielsen, Daryl worked in the publishing industry for McGraw-Hill and McClanahan & Company. Daryl graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
